March on Stress has now trained hundreds of Practitioners, across a wide range of private, public sector and governmental organisations and agencies.

All these Practitioners have the benefit of being a component part of the peer group within which they work. This avoids the need for external counsellors to be immediately 'parachuted in' following an incident which has been shown to be unhelpful.

Those exposed to an incident are provided with common sense assistance from appropriately trained peers who have an innate understanding of their organisation's dynamic; its composition and its inherent morale levels.

TRiM practitioners thus act as an organisational resource to encourage a much freer exchange of psychologically relevant information than might occur by relying on external sources of support. Effective interventions by TRiM practitioners will act as an organisational catalyst engendering a positive culture change which does not reinforce stigma and instead aids the recovery of distressed employees and where necessary facilitates early referral for the few who need it.

The case studies below illustrate how those exposed to a traumatic incident are managed in an empathetic but no-nonsense, non-cathartic way.
